Information about personal data processing, cookies, analytics and your GDPR rights.

1 General Information

Your personal data (e.g. form of address, name, postal address, email address, telephone number) is processed by us solely in accordance with the provisions of Polish data protection law and the data protection law of the European Union (EU). In addition to the purposes of processing, the legal bases, the recipients, and the retention periods, the following provisions also inform you of your rights and of the party responsible for the processing of your data. This privacy policy relates exclusively to our websites. Should you be redirected to other sites via links on our pages, please inform yourself there about the respective handling of your data.

2 Contact

(1) Purpose of Processing

We process the personal data that you provide to us by email, contact form, etc., in order to respond to and deal with your inquiries. You are not obliged to provide us with your personal data. However, without disclosing your email address, we will be unable to reply to you by email.

(2) Legal Bases

a) Should you have given us your express consent to the processing of your data, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR is the legal basis for such processing.

b) Should we process your data in order to carry out pre-contractual measures, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR is the legal basis.

c) In all other cases (in particular where a contact form is used), Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR is the legal basis.

RIGHT TO OBJECT: You have the right, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to object at any time to processing that is carried out on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR and that does not serve the purposes of direct marketing.

In the case of direct marketing, however, you may object to the processing at any time without providing any reasons.

(3) Legitimate Interest

Our legitimate interest in the processing lies in communicating with you swiftly and in responding to your inquiries in a cost-efficient manner. If you provide us with your postal address, we reserve the right to use it for direct mail marketing. You may safeguard your interest in data protection through the economical disclosure of data (e.g. by using a pseudonym).

(4) Categories of Recipients

Hosting provider; dispatch service provider in the case of direct marketing.

(5) Retention Period

Your data will be erased once it can be inferred from the circumstances that your inquiry or the matter concerned has been conclusively resolved.

If, however, a contract is concluded, the data required under commercial and tax law will be retained by us for the periods prescribed by law. For tax records and the related documentation, this period is generally five years, counted from the end of the calendar year in which the payment deadline for the tax fell due (Art. 86 § 1 of the Polish Tax Ordinance Act). Accounting documentation is retained for five years from the beginning of the year following the financial year to which the data relates (Art. 74(2) of the Polish Accounting Act).

(6) Right of Withdrawal

In the case of processing on the basis of your consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time.

3 Web Analytics with Google Analytics

(1) Purpose of Processing

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google"). Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies," text files that are stored on your computer and that enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is generally transmitted to and stored on a Google server. Where IP anonymization is activated on this website, your IP address will be truncated beforehand by Google within the member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity, and to provide the website operator with further services relating to website and internet use.

(2) Legal Basis

The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent given via the cookie banner).

(3) Purpose

The purpose of the processing is the statistical analysis of user behavior for optimization and marketing purposes.

(4) Categories of Recipients

Google; partner companies.

(5) Transfer to a Third Country

Insofar as data is transferred to the USA, this takes place on the basis of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, under which Google LLC is duly certified, or on the basis of the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

(6) Retention Period

26 months.

(7) RIGHT TO OBJECT / WITHDRAWAL OF CONSENT

You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by changing your settings in the cookie banner. You may also prevent the storage of cookies by configuring your browser software accordingly; we point out, however, that in this case you may not be able to make full use of all the functions of this website.

4 Information on Cookies

(1) Purpose of Processing

Technically necessary cookies are used on this website. These are small text files that are stored in or by your internet browser on your computer system.

(2) Legal Basis

The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

(3) Legitimate Interest

Our legitimate interest is the proper functioning of our website. The user data collected by technically necessary cookies is not used to create user profiles. Your interest in data protection is thereby safeguarded.

(4) Retention Period

Technically necessary cookies are generally deleted when the browser is closed. Permanently stored cookies have varying lifespans, ranging from a few minutes to several years.

(5) RIGHT TO OBJECT

If you do not wish these cookies to be stored, please disable their acceptance in your internet browser. This may, however, result in a limitation of the functionality of our website. You may also delete permanently stored cookies at any time via your browser.

5 Newsletter

(1) Purpose of Processing

When you subscribe to the newsletter, your email address is used for advertising purposes; that is, within the framework of the newsletter we inform you in particular about products from our range. For statistical purposes, we may evaluate which links in the newsletter are clicked. In doing so, it is not possible for us to identify which specific person clicked. You have given the following consent separately or, where applicable, expressly in the course of the ordering process: Subscribe to the newsletter.

(2) Legal Basis

The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

(3) Categories of Recipients

Where applicable, a newsletter dispatch service provider.

(4) Retention Period

Your email address is stored for the purpose of newsletter dispatch only for the duration of the subscription.

(5) Right of Withdrawal

You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. If you no longer wish to receive the newsletter, you may unsubscribe via the unsubscribe link contained in the newsletter.

6 Your Rights as a Data Subject

If your personal data is processed, you are a data subject within the meaning of the GDPR, and you have the following rights vis-à-vis us as the controller:

Right of Access Pursuant to Art. 15 GDPR, you may request information about the personal data we process concerning you.

Right to Rectification Should the data concerning you not be (or no longer be) accurate, you may, pursuant to Art. 16 GDPR, request its rectification. Should your data be incomplete, you may request its completion.

Right to Erasure You may, under the conditions of Art. 17 GDPR, request the erasure of your personal data.

Right to Restriction of Processing Within the requirements of Art. 18 GDPR, you have the right to request a restriction of the processing of the data concerning you.

Right to Data Portability Pursuant to Art. 20 GDPR, you have the right to receive the personal data concerning you that you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, or to request its transmission to another controller.

Right to Withdraw Consent to Data Processing Pursuant to Art. 7(3) GDPR, you have the right to withdraw your consent to data processing at any time. The lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent up until its withdrawal is not affected thereby.

Right to Lodge a Complaint with a Supervisory Authority If you consider that the processing of the personal data concerning you infringes the GDPR, you have the right, pursuant to Art. 77 GDPR, to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Poland, this authority is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, PUODO), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw. You may lodge a complaint in particular in the member state of your habitual residence, place of work, or place of the alleged infringement.

Please also note your right to object pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR:

a) In General: A Reasoned Objection Is Required

Where the processing of personal data concerning you is carried out

– to safeguard our overriding legitimate interest (legal basis under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), or

– in the public interest (legal basis under Art. 6(1)(e) GDPR),

you have the right to object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to such processing; this also applies to profiling based on the provisions of the GDPR.

In the event of an objection, we will no longer process the personal data concerning you, unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights, and freedoms, or unless the processing serves the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.

b) Special Case of Direct Marketing: A Simple Objection Suffices

Where the personal data concerning you is processed in order to carry out direct marketing, you have the right to object at any time and without providing any reasons to such processing; this also applies to profiling insofar as it is connected with such direct marketing.

If you object to processing for the purposes of direct marketing, the personal data concerning you will no longer be processed for these purposes.
